Learn how to publish lexicon schemas and get them indexed in the AT Protocol Schema Registry.

Publishing Lexicons

Before your lexicons can be indexed, you need to publish them to your PDS. Learn how:

Getting Indexed

Once published to your PDS, lexicons are automatically discovered and indexed via the AT Protocol Firehose. DNS authority verification is performed to ensure only authorized publishers can register schemas for a namespace.

If you need immediate indexing or your lexicons weren't automatically picked up, you can request manual indexing below.

DNS Authority Verification

For a lexicon to be indexed, the publisher must have authority over the NSID namespace. This is verified through DNS:

  1. The NSID com.example.myLexicon requires authority over example.com
  2. Add a DNS TXT record: _lexicon.example.com pointing to your DID
  3. Or use a did:web identifier that matches the domain

Lexicons that fail DNS verification are logged but not indexed. View unverified lexicons
